Cut Classes

During development Pirates, Vikings and Knights II was originally intended to have eighteen classes rather than twelve, planning for each team to have their own Healers and Lords. Due to their lack of inclusion from the beginning however they were eventually scrapped as the game had been balanced without them in mind, resulting in the PVKII that we have today. For those curious about them however here you can find a directory linking to each team's classes, their original concepts and what they would've brought to the table.

Healers

See each class' specific pages for more details.

Each team was to have a Healer who functioned relatively similar across all three, having the ability to drop small and large healing pickups, the latter being able to heal debuffs as well as damage over time sources on the recipient. The only remnant of their planned inclusion in-game is the Medic voice command.

Lords

See each class' specific pages for more details.

The Lords were support classes that had instruments or tools to help boost their team's morale, providing unique buffs to all nearby allies as well as granting them strategic advantages with their Specials.

Uniquely, the Captain was intended to later be repurposed as the Pirate team's Lord in the form of receiving a Concertina that would function as his support tool, which can be seen in his concept art.

Freebooter

See the Freebooter's page for more details.

Given that they already had their to-be Lord, the Pirates were to instead get a stealth class called the Freebooter, a whip-wielding poisoner who would've been able to camouflage into the environment at will.
